Tour Diary - Day 1: Sydney to Fukuoka

Day 1 - 30 nov

 

On the 30th of November forty rugby players from Trinity Grammar began their tour of Japan by setting off from Sydney airport at 9:15 am. Before we boarded the plane Joseph Chamoun had already temporarily miss placed his passport near gate 50, not a good start to the trip. To endure the gruelling ten hour flight to Narita airport the boys past the time with many movies, Tetris games and making each other do push ups. Once we finally arrived at Narita airport we then claimed our luggage and boarded our next flight which was to Fukoka domestic airport. After we landed at Fukoka airport we then claimed our luggage once again then crammed all forty players plus staff and luggage into a smaller than average bus. This bus took us to Toyo Hotel where we stayed in single rooms for one night. Our tour of Japan had began.
